Tasu  (Béthisy-Saint-Martin, France - 2017/2018)  4.1 x 4.6 x 0.8 m, aluminum, stainless steel, nylon, dacron.

Tasu is a lateen rigged ultra light kayak (12.7 kg).
A site specific sculpture adapted to water and wind.
She is made out of two folded foils of 0,8 mm aluminum (I have a severe allergy for epoxy and plywood).
The folded hull is all riveted (the local welder turned to be a fascist).
A six square meters lateen dacron sail provides Tasu's wind propulsion (too lazy to paddle).
Two asymmetric cambered leeboards (NACA profiles) improve its capability to sail upwind (if necessary).
Very low on water, Tasu is like a silver cormorant.

The aluminum model, leeboard and foil project, some aluminum formatting steps, the first buoyancy test, the winter hibernation, 10.6 knts: her maximum record speed, a transport.
